  1. The transition when you’re actually incontinent needing diapers is doable but self conscious to start. I’m curious how his first day was too. It does indeed get alot easier with time and knowing how to handle the variety of situations.
  2. You’ll definitely be able to do activities as you want to do them as you get over any embarrassment or hesitations of being diapered. After years of being diapered 24/7, life goes on for me. I have a diaper bag or spare diaper with me at all times and that’s about all that I need. The embarrassment is gone as I need the diapers now. I’ve learned how many on average that I go through and I plan for it. So don’t sweat that you won’t be able to do what you want to do. With both sphincters and prostate gone, I’m sure you are incontinent now:). I have 2 of the 3 and not the external removed and the bladder is overactive. The external sphincter just can’t hold it now. I’ve just learned to embrace the diapers or I would be peeing every 15-60 minutes with little notice to go.
  3. Since you had a turp, did they say that you would have retrograde ejaculation? I’ve had a couple prostate surgeries including laser turp and bladder neck surgeries due to a blockage and now nothing comes out during ejaculation. It feels the same but there is no clean up anymore. I wonder if they told you this would happen. Without your prostate or either urinary sphincter, I imagine you will now have the same retrograde ejaculation.
  4. So it's been a little longer since my last post and I must admit I've lost most or all of my control now too. I guess that's what I kinda of expected to happen. I'm far less stressed now about it all and have just accepted it. Despite many attempted treatments, they haven't worked. I don't think incontinence is often cured from what I've read so why not just accept it and get on with life.
  5. I'll be in Indy this Tuesday if anyone wants to have a low key meet up and maybe make a new friend:)

  9. I totally agree with you. When you see others in stalls using the men’s urinal and you are changing your diaper, it does come to a realization of how you’ve changed. After 3 years of being diapered, I’m pretty quick with the diaper changes at this point and it’d feel abnormal not to be diapered. The stress level of running to the bathroom is much less too when you come to the realization to just use the diapers and not run to the bathroom. I can’t be without them so I might as well accept them.
  10. I can totally relate. As the urge incontinence got much worse and I only now use diapers, it takes a really long time to start peeing and with a slow stream if I ever try to use a toilet. It’s been a week since I tried in a toilet, but that’s how it was then.
  11. Thanks everyone for the replies. It sounds like I’m not the only one who is not trying to stress about going to the bathroom so frequently and just instead uses the diaper. I imagine whatever control is left will be gone soon which I’m fine with. I’ve already lost almost all control at bedtime and wake up every morning in a wet diaper. I wished there was a solution from the several years of incontinence, but now it is time to manage the stress instead of the incontinence.
  12. So I’m struggling a bit to deal with the urinary frequency and urgency. For instance, I probably urinated 20 times yesterday. I’ve given up trying to get to the bathroom and now just use my diapers even though I could make it sometimes to the bathroom. Do other incontinent people sometimes just use their diaper even though they probably could have made it to the bathroom? Have you just given up and resorted to just always using your diaper instead of the bathroom? I’m at the point where it’s just a lot easier and less stressful to use diapers than run to the bathroom constantly or worry about the fact that I wet a diaper. Thoughts?
  13. So do you have any suggestions for anything in Vegas?
  14. Anyone up for a low key meeting in the next few days? Matt
