  1. Well welcome to Daily Diapers I have used flat cloth diapers for years and truly love birdseye cloth diapers, they wash and dry very eazly and stand up very well, I have some flat and prefold diapers that are at least 20 years old. About a year ago I discovered Diaper Rite diapers sold by Diaper Junction that are birdseye flats (large 32" X 32") that fit me to a 'T' love them and they are only $22.00 per dozen. I have a 34" waist and 36" hips and these diapers would fit someone even larger. I usually use 2 of the large diapers and layer them with 2 - 27" X 27" diapers and 2 - Gerber baby prefolds
  2. I have a question today. I am looking at buying a couple of pair of polyurethane pants from Fetware and would like to know from the people what their experience has been with them. Which do you like best the non-wicking (covered elastics) or plain sewn on elastic? I also like the look of their tinted pants in pink and blue. Looking at an early christmas present to myself this year. Thanks for your help, DLMOO
  3. I remember being diapered by my mother many times, due to being a bedwetter until I was 10 - 11 years old. She would lovingly but me in birdseye cloth diapers and plastic pant every night before bed and remove it in the morning and help me dress for school. I still have my original diapers and plastic pants stored in the attic.
  4. Well I am lucky to have small hips and waist (32") that I can easily wear 27" X 27" birdseye diapers and also the new Gerber diapers that are 24" X 27". I have also found some birdseye diapers from Green Mountain.com that are about 32" X 32" that fit very well and are very reasonable in price. I topically use 2 flat diapers with 2 or 3 toddler prefolds in between as stuffers. This makes a very good diaper for me which is very reasonable in cost, washes and drys very well. I have some diapers that are over 40 years old that are getting thin but in good condition yet.
  5. Will I haven't posted for a long time and I do love my cloth diapers. I layer my diapers similar to the other posts. I topically use Birdseye flat diapers from green mountain diapers size 34 X 34, my favored layered diaper is lay 1 34 x 34 diaper flat them layer a folded 28 x 28 Birdseye, a standard prefold, another folded Birdseye, another prefold and a 34 x 34 on top. this makes a very comfortable diaper, then covered with comco plastic pants. I have a 34 inch waist with small hips and can easily fit into the Gerber 24 x 27 diapers that are sold at Wal-mart. Flat diapers also wash and dry very quick and easy, plus much better then the large adult prefolds that I have tried in the past that are hard to wash and dry and are alot more expensive. If you have a small waist and hips give standard baby diapers a try. Just a quick note I have also been using a waterproof pant made by DMI Durable Medical Industries that can be machine washed and dried, which will outlast 2 = 3 plastic pants. Have fun and keep diapered.
  6. You could start by using regular cloth diapers, like a 27 X 27 birdseye diaper and a receiving blanket for an outer diaper which can be found and any wall-mart, k-mart or target for about $20 to get you started. I also have a 36" waist with small hips and can easly wear a 27 X 27 birdseye diaper. I usually use 2 birdseye diapers with toddler prefolds as stuffers in between the 2 birdseye diapers with comco plastic pants. enjoy
  7. I use cloth baby diapers all the time, I can still wear a 27 X 27 birdseye flat diaper which fits me very well, luckly I have small hips 34" and 170 lbs. I use flat diapers with toddler prefolds as stuffers (in between my flat diapers) 6 - 8 diapers work very well and also hold a lot of fluid, Just wandering if anyone else uses cloth baby diapers.
  8. I was a bedwetter until age 11, and have always liked being in diapers. My mother would diaper me every night before bed with cloth diapers and plastic pants and I would be wet in the morning about 5 days out of 7. I do remember wearing gerber toddler plastic pants until I was around 8 years old and I thing mom used 4 cloth birdeye diapers at the time. When I was 10 or so if I wake up before mom got me up for school I would wet my diapers on purpose and remembered it feel so good to have a wet diaper. Today I can still wear 27 x 27 birdseye diapers, I usually wear 4 birdseye diapers with toddler prefolds as stuffers and protex plastic pants. Love my cloth diapers
