Jess nodded when Mike told her where to go and darted for the stairs. Already on the first step she felt herself start to leak but she continued anyway, eager to get to the bathroom before anything more happened. She got to the top of the stairs and looked for the bathroom.

A mixture of relief and dread came over Sarah. Relief as she released the pressure which had built on her bladder, and dread, as she stood out in public, in front of her boyfriend, wetting herself. And she really did wet, covering herself and even some leaking onto the floor. She sniffled, holing back tears as the reality of what had just happened really hit home. She looked at Ralph when he said they should continue shopping and almost burst into tears, "You want to leave me like this?" She asked breathlessly, "I thought it was just a private thing, people will see!"

She starred at the sign in disbelief, it can't be closed for cleaning, she tried the handle to use it anyway but it was locked. "I can't hold it though!" She replied quietly to him. She had drawn enough attention to herself and didn't want to embarrass them more, but the struggle to hold her full bladder had become impossible.

Apologising was easier than she thought it was going to be. Satisfied with the result of not having to go to bed and not having to be sincere either, she stood up. She felt the urge to use the bathroom build quite suddenly, she had been preoccupied moments earlier and not realised how urgent it was.

Jess didn't want to apologise, but she didn't want to go to bed either. She looked him in the eye, partially covering her face with the end of her pig tail and paused, not saying a word for almost thirty seconds. Finally, she spoke,

Sarah could hear Ralph telling her off, but she wasn't listening to him, she was a bit preoccupied with finding the bathroom. She looked around the shop for a sign for one but couldn't see any. "Can you see any signs to one?" She asked him,

Against her better judgment, Sarah stopped when he ordered her to and walked back a couple of paces. She felt a trickle run into her panties and it suddenly became much harder to hold the rest. Ralph had dressed her in white tights, she hadn't thought about it at the time because she didn't imagine this to happen, but it was the worst colour for hiding an accident which she feared would happen unless they made it to the family room very soon.

Jess made her body ridged before he picked her up so it'd be harder to simply pick her up and carry her upstairs, it was about all she could do given her position. She could feel her emotions build as the beginning of a tantrum took place. "I don't want to go to bed, it's too early," She wined, it must be about midday, she was wide awake and having a hard time accepting her new role. "I'll be good if I can stay down here?" She tried bargaining with him, anything to get her own way, whatever it was.

Jess looked down at the floor, it didn't seem fair that she should have to apologise to him when she hadn't done anything other than point out his mistake. She didn't see him apologising for turning her into a nine year old. She suddenly went very quiet, not wanting to apologise or start an argument.

Sarah couldn't afford any delays, her bathroom situation had become urgent. She really tried to hold it but already she felt her bladder contract. She was desperate not to do this here, she tried really hard to break free of Ralph's grip so she could run ahead for the bathroom.

"I - I -" She stuttered, "I didn't mean to be rude. You got my name wrong, that's all, it's Jess." She said, feeling like a little kid getting scolded for doing something wrong, "I don't want to go for a nap, please let me stay down here."

Sarah nodded in agreement but struggled to do much else while hopping around. She understood why he was telling her off, she shouldn't have left it so late, but hopefully she still had time before anything unthinkable happened. She held his hand like a good girl but was pulling his arm, urging him to walk faster. She needed to go soon and they hadn't even gotten to the shop yet, let alone found the family room.

Jess noticed Mike call her Alice, she wasn't sure whether that was deliberate or not so decided to say something. "My name is Jess, not Alice" She corrected him, momentarily forgetting her place as his nine year old and telling him off. As for the drink, Jess had no idea what he had or what she was allowed, she was thirsty though, "Can I have some juice?"

Sarah was beginning to regret not taking Ralph up on his offer sooner. She thought she didn't need to go, but since she made that decision the pressure had built and actually she did need to pee. They walked back to the car where Sarah found herself more fidgety than usual. She bounced from one foot to the other as she waited for him to drop her new bedding off in the back. Once he was finished he smiled at her and she smiled back, although her smile looked strained given her circumstances, "Yeah, but -" She checked for people nearby and spoke quieter than before, "I know I said I didn't have to go, but I kinda do now, can you take me to the bathroom in the clothing shop first?" She asked him, hopefully

Sarah felt fine, she waited in line with Ralph, the queue was longer than she anticipated.
