I thought how the mother went went back and forth with him/her pronouns was realistic and how she snapped and called Cindy young man after she was more or less out as a girl hit pretty close to home and I could feel her pain on that one. But I am glad this story doesn't seem super realistic cause being trans can make life incredibly difficult to go through and the story would probably be a lot sadder. I really like how Cindy has lots of support though.

This is one of the best stories I've read. The transgender struggle is realistic and kind of inspiring.
