  1. The last thing people who wear diapers (regardless of whether they're incontinent or ABDL) are is "privileged". If anything, we're in a position to call out the privileges of oppressed groups that have gone mainstream.
  2. Judging by their other posts, I'm pretty sure they're just posting made up fantasies.
  3. Sounds pretty much the same as people's reactions to LGBT a couple decades ago, actually. If they could do it, then so can we.
  4. SJWs are as reviled as they are precisely because they're so hypocritically sex negative. Everything's fine to do no matter the time and place as long as it's under the LGBT banner, but everything else often gets met with puritan intolerance rivalling that of religious fundamentalists.
  5. Considering how many people have gotten hurt precisely by it not being mainstream and accepted, there's no way it becoming more mainstream is a bad thing. We should be accepted just like anyone else. There's also the fact that "incontinence" diapers have taken to scamming incontinent people in recent years with subpar products, so AB/DL products are a must for them nowadays.
  6. Did you actually read the article? It's about the killer trying to defend himself by pointing out that his victim was a diaper fetishist and promptly getting shut down by the judge.
  7. There is one store in Stockholm called Sjukvårdsbutiken that sells BetterDry, MyDiaper and Rearz.
  8. Diapers are a kind of underwear. If you're at a place that expects you to strip down to your underwear, it's not really exhibitionism. He also had a quite valid medical reason what with the diarrhea, so I don't really see the problem.
  9. If you think people who wear diapers aren't discriminated against socially, you honestly need a reality check. The fact that the most well-known adult diaper brand markets itself by trying to not be a diaper really says it all. Also, how do people who wear diapers fare in, say, highschool or the dating scene if others find out? Exactly. It's also incredibly dishonest to try associating not wanting to live in constant fear of being outed, unfairly accused and losing things dear to them with wanting to be an exhibitionist. Wanting to be able to casually bring up a kink to your loved one without a major risk of them instantly turning vile and hateful towards you is not the same as strolling down the street in fetish gear. You can accept yourself all you want, but that's not relevant to whether you get to keep your marriage or children. However, I would say that beyond AB/DLs in particular being stigmatized, adult diaper wearers in general including incontinent people are treated in an exceedingly poor way. For the same reason, though, I think AB/DL will be treated better as a side-effect if the societal acceptance of incontinence progresses, which should definitely be achievable if it were to be pointed out on a major scale just how much pointless malice many incontinent people have had to suffer through for a medical issue they can't help, and that it's not okay to perpetuate that kind of hatred towards them much like how no reasonable person gives people a hard time over other physical disabilities. On a side note, I would like to point out that there are several major payment processors that will give even 18+ sites trouble over ABDL content, leading to them either having to ban the fetish or run into issues financing themselves. Just a little thing to think about for those who say that ABDLs aren't facing any issues.
  10. Does your apartment building have the names of the tenants written by the entrance or the apartment doors? It might be a good idea to look up the guy's timeline on Facebook if so to see if he's spreading any slander about you, since that might make for valuable evidence if it ends up escalating into a legal case of some kind. Him prying into your private affairs and then having the gall to accuse you of being the one doing something criminal is incredibly alarming behavior.
  11. On one hand, incontinence doesn't impair one's movement or senses, and tools such as diapers and odor-killing pills make it so that incontinent people should be able to lead lives not too different from others nowadays. In that sense, it isn't inherently a debilitating disability in a physical sense. However, I think the sheer amount of societal mistreatment that incontinent people suffer from due their condition more than justifies the legal protection that being counted as a disability gives them.
  12. http://www.screamhorrormag.com/horror-channel-frightfest-glasgow-preview-joanne-mitchell-discusses-dominic-brunts-adult-babies/ This interview seems to have more info about it. It sounds like it's intended to be an over the top campy horror movie, and they're acknowledging there's nothing wrong with being an AB, so hopefully the movie will be entertaining and not just a cheap literal demonization of us.
  13. Ever heard of something called getting outed? All it takes is one person such as a partner finding out about your fetish and telling others about it in order to harm you. If people suffer negative consequences from and have to fear being outed as something that isn't criminal, it's a pretty clear sign that there's an issue with society when it comes to it.
  14. "likely" "assume" It would be nice if that were the case, wouldn't it? If everything bad that happened to people was a consequence of their own bad behavior, and nothing unfair could ever happen. However, this happens to be something known as the just world fallacy. Wishful thinking is all good and well, but this kind of attitude easily leads to victim blaming.
