  1. It is a Haian bikini panties. Yes, the common "rain wear" today is PU, and in poor quality compared with PVC.
  2. The noisy stuff is EVA plastic. Polyurethane is not noisy and feels more like latex. Often shorten as PU and PUL. I got plastic pants made of 100% polyurethane (marked PUL), and they seems to last much longer than PVC. Although they sticks more to the skin. PU with backing, often used in rain wear, seems to be of much poorer quality than PVC with backing.
  3. I got two "main groups" types of PUL pants. One group are similar to the traditional plastic pants, and last much longer. These PUL pants feels a bit more like latex than PVC. They are a bit more sticky to the skin. The other group are coated on one side with PUL, the main side are normally nylon. They are a bit more noisy. My experience is that the PUL coating is degenerating and falls off quite quickly. Might be that I use to strong soap.
  4. I did a head MRI last week and had diapers on. I just had to remove all metal, as belt, a jumper with a zipper, but kept all other clothes on. Contrast was also injected, but I did not notice it at all. Most probably you might keep your pants on, but the personal will not care about a diaper at all. They have probably seen hundreds of them before. Some few years ago I had a CT of my kidney and bladder, and I had to drink a lot of water to fill up my bladder. Unfortunately I did not wear diapers at that time.
  5. Has anyone seen a scale or form similar to the I-PSS for urge?
  6. Found a lot of different incontinent definitions here I never has seen before. http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/reflex+incontinence
  7. Yes, an unpredictable urge from drops to full emptying. Wonder why my doctor filled in the I-PSS form for prostate, when my problem is urge. I have had some issues with the uridom and prefer diapers instead. I read that 4-5% of the population are using some kind of protection.
  8. My doctor asked me how bad it was in a scale from 1 to 10. I answered 1 in some periods, and 10 when my pants and shoes are wet. I filled in an I-PSS form together with my doctor and got 22 of 35 points. I assume 35 is impossible. At the "quality of life" score, my doctor gave me 6 (worst), but I disagreed as some periods a just OK, and he only reduced it to 5.
  9. There are different types of incontinence, varying from few drops, to constant dribbling. Small urges to complete emptying, and many more. Ex: 5% some drops after urinating,
  10. I don't know if the top of the catheter it selves irritates the bladder and causes the spasms. Anyway my bladder gets easily irritated of coffee, and makes urges. http://www.poiesismedical.com/products/duette/
  11. Thanks again, Baby Brian I visited my deputy-doctor this time and asked if there could be any "link" between a slightly enlarged prostate and urge/spasm. I did certainly not mentioned the catheter. I was told that my prostate was not big enough to cause this reaction, and again he suggested some drugs.
  12. A week or two without diapers would be fine...

  13. Thanks, Bettypooh I see, not a permanent catheter. My thought was that the catheter was used to "close" the system and made your spasms. Seems that diapers are the best option for many.
  14. Thanks, Bettypooh Was your catheter open or closed at that time? My doctor has advised me to not run to the toilet before i feel the urge starts. This will train my lower sphincter muscles, and keep my bladder capacity.
