  1. Well maybe we could have somewhere on this forum where people could advertise if they were willing to have a bedwetter stay on a B&B basis.
  2. I think there is a difference between hotels just reluctantly putting a plastic sheet on your bed (and probably joking about it behind your back) and actually saying we welcome bedwetters and will do everything to help.
  3. That's a good start to the list. I come from the UK so any suggestions there or in Europe would be good too.
  4. As one who regularly travels and doesn't like having to explain to hotels or B&B's that I need a plastic sheet, wouldn't it be nice to have a list of establishments that welcome bedwetters. Their beds would be well protected, they wouldn't mind you disposing of your nappies/diapers and you would be made to feel at home. Maybe there are some people who use this forum with bed and breakfast establishments! I live in hope.
  5. IncontinenceChoice have a special offer on Tena Slip Maxi for this next week
  6. Well I am back from my holiday now. I managed not to leak but I disposed of my tena slips by wrapping them in plastic bags and putting them in the waste bin. After about 3 days I noticed I had clean sheets and I also noticed they had put a waterproof mattress protector on the bed so I can only assume they knew as a result of the my disposing of the nappies in the waste bin and decided to take the necessary action! A good result all round I think.
  7. I saw a suggestion recently that because a disposable diaper is squashed flat for packing you should always shake it or pull and push it so as to get air into it and expand it before using it. In this way it absorbs much better. Maybe everyone else does this already but I didn't and since I have done so it certainly seems to absorb more and leak less. If you don't do it already try it. Does it make a difference?
  8. Thanks for all your helpful suggestions. One option I was considering was getting a waterproof pad, one side plastic, the other side towelling but don't seem to be able to find such a thing other than something that covers the whole bed.
  9. At home I always wear Tena Slip Maxi and plastic pants but I do occasionally have leakage problems. It's OK because I do also have a rubber sheet. My leakage problems have got worse recently and I am going on holiday to a hotel for nearly two weeks. I am too embarassed to ask them to put a rubber sheet on the bed. Does anybody have any advice on what I should do?
  10. In spite of my disposables having a plastic backing (Tena Slip Maxi) I always wear plastic pants over the top of them as I feel more secure that way. Am I strange to want to wear both or do most people wear plastic pants over the top too?
  11. I have worn tena maxi super plus slips for years and they are great. This week though I got a my usual supply only to note that they have been changed slighly with a new insert called 'FeelDry'. They also have a new purple dotted pattern on the front. They certainly seem even better. Topsy

    Hi

They can get a bit hot in summer but I am used to it. It's not brave no one notices or if they do they have never said anything and it gives me that lovely secure feeling of warmth and being able to let go if I need to. Topsy

    Hi

Hi, This is a great site. I wear diapers 24/7 and have done for many years. Tena pants in the day and Tena maxi slip super at night. I also always wear plastic pants over the top to stop leakage. Have always loved plastic pants ever since I was very small. Look forward to chatting with you all. Topsy
