I use either the standard infant diaper pin or the 3 inch adult style. The only constant is the pins are not white. I prefer colors so I can see them If I am changing lying on my bed.

for me it depends how wet the elastics around the legs are. Usually I change plastic pants when I get up in the morning after a shower. During the day I seldom change them, just drop them with my pants and change the diaper.

I use a double diaper with a prefold as a booster, a good plastic pant and a washable bed pad over the sheet. Seldom do I have a leak.

I use baby lotion for the skin and an insert from Babykins. The diaper is cloth, sources vary. Then a plastic pant, again the source is varied. Some are colored, infantile prints and clear.

After the deed, If I was at the point of a change (wet) , I change. Quite often I will just continue on with the days activities, leaving my diaper to absorb the liquids. If I had a plastic panty under my diaper I will remove it and re-pin the diaper and put on a fresh plastic panty.

For me cloth diapers and plastic pants are the thing. My latest favorite is a contour diaper from baby pants .

Wear a pullup product, like Depends...

I switched to cloth for that very reason.

I just returned from a bunch of errands, padded of course. The convenience factor is great. Next a diaper change.
