After a long absence, I'm finally getting back into the AB/DL side of myself. Still in Buffalo, wanted to say hi and see if there was anyone near here

WakkaWannaBe, I understood what you were trying to say thanks. I'm calm now. Snugglebear, I get it. I too am bi... I catch it from people who know I'm bi then I get it from people who learn in trans. I get it. Hugs. I actually overheard a friend of mine admit she, as a lesbian, doesn't believe that I'm bisexual, because I'm in a "hetero normative" relationship. So yeah, wtf on both sides. Thanks for all of the positive responses, everyone. I usually don't let people like that get to me, but sometimes it just hits me very hard, and my armor seems to crumble. Feeling like a large part of the world hates you just for trying to be happy sucks.

happyindprs, I never said I wanted blanket acceptance without question, I merely questioned the need for some people to go out of their way to spew hatred, particularly at transgender people. Also, I am not intolerant of their decision to dislike people that they consider different, I'm intolerant of their hatred. Big diffference. They don't like people for being different, I don't like them because they are ass holes. There is no paradox. ForbiddenFruit: Thank you for getting it. Such a fantastic and fitting quote. There is no justification for the type of behavior that I posted about.
