  1. New style internal catheter video posted: http://www.xtube.com/watch.php?v=rwQcN-G468-
  2. I was hoping no one was noticing too much that I was always going into the bathroom.
  3. Woke up soaked in my Fabine diaper, but no leaks. Changed for work and continued the journey. Went through 7 diapers in an 8 hour shift at work. Drank lots of koolaide. I also found that taking a couple of No Doze during the day helps the flow as caffeine is a diuretic.
  4. Well, family is out of town for a couple of days so it's time to have some fun being cathed and diapered for 48 hours (they don't know). I love going to bed and waking up soaked. To protect the bed, I use the new Goodnights bed pads.
  5. Just found this video - how awesome! Is this from anyone here in this thread? http://www.xtube.com/watch.php?v=n0iGD-S167-
  6. I usually take my spare diaper in the bathroom inside a UPS envelope. Looks like I am taking a pit stop on the way to our shipping dept.
  7. This looks like a feasable solution to the problem.
  8. I have worn from 16fr to 22fr with the extra hole in the side and they all work the same. Urine will still flow around the catheter even with the larger size. A smaller size will probably feel like it is not there if you wear it a long time. I have zip tied the end and not used anything to cover it and have not had any problems. I cut the tie close and have not felt it scratch me or it has not snagged in the diaper. I prefer the latex catheters vs the silicone ones which feel stiffer.
  9. If you strip away everything but the fill tube in Bo Tox's idea, would it be strong enough to pull out the remaining catheter? I would be worried it would break and therefore result in a trip to the doctor.
  10. And with adding the hole in the catheter, there is no stopping the flow until you take it out.
  11. I haven't ended up with any skin problems so far. I use baby wipes when changing, thats about it.
  12. Well, tried Swet's idea of zip tying the end of the cath and cutting off the rest. It worked like a charm and was nice not having all that extra in the diaper. The balloon drained with no problem when I cut the zip tie off.
  13. I use wire cutters to make the hole in my catheter. Just keep things clean and the fluid flowing to cut down the risk of a UTI. Of all of the times I use a catheter (once or twice a week left in for a day) I have only gotten one UTI in the past year. Started noticing clouding urine, popped a few leftover antibiotics and it was gone in 2 days. I have been getting my catheters on ebay as well as my outfits.
  14. Grand Rapids, I would like to met up and make new friends. Are you a DL or ABDL? I am about 1 hour and 25 minutes north of GR.
