  1. I often wake up, but a few moments after the involuntary act. I can tell it is only a few moments because my diaper is usually still warm. In any event, seeing I am already wet, I usually just rollover and sleep fully marianating for the rest of the night. I will often pee again while asleep and wake up again soon after.
  2. I bet more than a few were unexpected
  3. Brought in the new year by peeing through my M-4 enough times to make my plastic pants leak. Must have been all of the water I drank immediately before bed to ward of my New year's eve hangover. Slept through each wetting and woke up soaked including my bed.
  4. As a kid always wore PJ bottoms or gym shorts because I was embarrassed by the diapers. I always wanted to believe nobody noticed. They probably did or already knew. Certainly all my relatives since I peed a fair share of cousins beds over the years. As an adult I generally just sleep in a diaper, plastic pants and a large T-shirt. Just easier that way and my wife of 16 years is obviously privy. I put on sweat pants when I get up and walk around the house. We have an 11 year old who still wets the bed most nights (chip off the old block) who wears diapers to bed and knows I suffer from same curse. So a family secret.
  5. Sign me up. My bedwetting frequency comes and goes, but I have never stopped for any extended period and I am 45.
  6. Its an odd question since most kids that are pre-teen or teen bedwetters never really stopped. So it is not an issue of "starting" to bedwet. In my case I don't think I had a dry night before I was maybe 11 or so, at least I can never really remember one. During that period I never got out of night diapers and rubber pants. My mom just kept buying bigger diapers. By the time I started junior high I was having a few dry nights and my father was convinced that the diapers at night were part of the problem. It just made bedwetting too "convenient". So for most of junior high and the start of high school I just had a rubber sheet and would often wake up in a flooded bed. It was not until the middle of high school that I made the decision to go back to diapers since I figured the curse was not going to be cured anytime soon.
  7. I agree. I was born in 1974, and as a pre-teen disposable diapers were just becoming widely available. My mother diapered me in cloth diapers for bed until I was about 11 or so- then I went through a stage where I was merely flooding the bed for a couple of years (and it was flooding because my mother had a real rubber sheet just under the top sheet that although it was a urine barrier, spread the pee out over the entire area of the sheet. I can remember some mornings where my extra long twin bed had a pee circle from my knees to my pillow the width of the entire mattress-It was during this time period that I earned the nickname "Floater", started by my older brother). By the time I was starting high school, I was wetting the bed less but decided to go pack to diapers-this time disposables with tabs-and rubber pants just to avoid the mess.
  8. If you peed with any regularity, your bed/sleeping bag must have been pretty "ripe" by the end of the session.
  9. I don't launder mine every time it gets used. it is only picking up diaper leaks and does not get too saturated. For what ever reason it does not retain odor to a great extent. I will probably toss it in the machine once every month or so. If I was sleeping without diapers and plastic pants where it would take the brunt of the wetting I would use a plain rubber sheet with no flannel. Much easier to wipe down and be done.
  10. I guess I never noticed. Of course I was growing a lot during those years and my mom kept buying larger sizes.
  11. I was so glad that even in the "regular" cabins, my mother sent me with several pairs of really thick underwear (teenage training pants) and rubber pants. I used to clandestinely put them on inside my sleeping bag. On nights where I had an accident, I used to place the wet pants and rubberpants in a plastic bag and leave them in my sleeping bag. You would then tell your counselor who would get them laundered where they would be returned to you inside your sleeping bag that evening. To my knowledge I was never outed in 3 years of doing this. During that time I had many wet nights.
