  1. Our diapers are already made completely by machines.
  2. I used to live in Harringay. Behind Wood Green tube station. I saw everything in that neighborhood. No offense, you were just the flavour of the day, mate.
  3. I always use a barrier cream (aquaphor or vaseline), powder, and a little lotion in the front to reduce friction on my "anatomy."
  4. Regarding the comment of people should not post if they are overweight, if you don't like a pic, don't look at it.
  5. We all seem quick to judge on one news article.
  6. Sounds like you work with a lot of immature people. Go to college. Study a subject where there are good jobs waiting after graduating. Good Job = good pay, benefits, 401k, professional behavior required. It sounds like you work in a retail environment. Keep in mind, only the store manager needs a college education, everyone else just needs a pulse. Finally, try to be more discerning on whom you divulge information to when you don't want everyone to know everything about you. This will help you in protecting yourself relating to relationships and identity theft. In the near term, it will be tough going to work after all this, you will have to fight everyday. If you choose to get another job, there is the risk that this could follow you. If you go for another job, you might consider one that has people who are a little more mature about this kind of thing and would be more inclined to protect you than to ridicule you. A healthcare environment may be the way to go. Good luck.
  7. Got the samples too. Not really practical for a full time incontinent person. You are lucky if it holds one wetting. If you suffer from light leakage or just like the feeling of knowing you are wearing a diaper that no one can see under regular clothes, this is the diaper for you. If you need a diaper to hold a decent amount of wettings (3 or 4) or some bowel, don't bother. Stick to the standards, Abena, Molicare, Dry 24/7. Once again, Depend has proven how useless their innovation is to the truly incontinent. Thank goodness for the european manufacturers.
  8. Why keep count? Just enjoy each one, and the next one, and the next one, and so on. I just hope we can get a point where they won't linger in landfills for 500 years. Still disposable, but highly biodegradable. Within 20 years would be a great goal to work for.
  9. Reader, I have been placing regular orders since I found XP in 2003. It was really just convenience at first. I just lived 10 miles from their headquarters in Ventura, CA. Needless to say, it has been 8 years now, and XP is my reliable source for supplies. I have had small mistakes in my orders here and there, but XP is quick to fix the problem, and never charges for their mistake. I repeat, if they miss something or send you the wrong product, they send you the correct product immediately, without charge. Also, their communication lines during the ordering process are always open and promptly addressed. Essentially, I can't say enough good things about Gary and the XP team. As long as XP is around, they will get my business on a regualr basis. My only complaint regarding XP is I wish they offered a greater variety of products. I wish they had more diaper and clothing choices. I understand they are business, an honest one at that, but I just wish I could order the Fabine Exclusive or a good baby blue onsie from them as well. What it boils down to is I trust XP, and I only want to buy from XP. They have proven themselves to be an honest merchant who is not out to make a 'killing' in terms of profit, but out to help their fellow human in need of incontinence-related products. BTW, I have no affiliation with XP in anyway shape or form. I am a regular customer, that's it.
  10. Suran wrap? It's not very effective. Here's why. It it compressing to the diaper. Simple science, if something must expand to accept your "deposit" and you don't allow the object to expand, you lose absorbency. Regarding leaks, it works ok for a bit, but the amount of constriction required to get a water-tight seal is not worth the actual pain involved, unless that is your thing. I should mention that when I rediscovered diapers as a kid, I tried the suran wrap thing many times over the years to see if there was something I could do to improve it, nothing ever worked. I just had an uncomfortably tight diaper that leaked anyway. If you want to try something similar, get some white garbage bags, cut two leg holes, and delicately stretch and tape them around your diaper. Tuck it in the top of your diaper and sinch it snug with a little duct tape. Voila, disposable plastic pants. FYI, I am not giving you all of the details involved as it is a process that takes a bit of practice. I have been using garbage bags as disposable plastic pants for a good 20 years and have rarely had a leak. In fact, I have bought several pairs of professionally made plastic pants, only to be disappointed and revert to the garbage bags again. (Also, the garbage bag has a nice crinkle sound, if you like that kind of thing.) Finally, before any of you judge, try it... Will
