The public image of ABDL? Standing headline "60 year old man seen in just a diaper with a pacifier in his mouth carrying teddy bear". Then the usual questions about what makes him tick and the endless rounds of psychobabble
Two words; repeat after me "PRIVATE life" now, go understand what that means and why it is important. Hence; I don't want the public in my bedroom so I don't put my bedroom im the public square. Also, from an anti-drunk driving PSA "Your lifestyle is your business, but if you take it out on the road, it becomes everybody's busienss"
47 years ago, we finally got recognition that 1. everyone had some kind of kink and 2 since some persons, in fact, most persons found some specific kinks objectionable, and since everyone had a right to peaceful use of public space, it was not discussed in public and the display of it, in public, was exhibitionism and the province of wingnuts and pervets, and we needed a modus vivendi so we kept it behind closed doors and were very happy with that. In the late 60's the "old fogies" warned us that the hard core kinksters, i. e. wingnuts and perverts, would try to shove their lifestyle down peoples' throats. It seems they were right
As an individualist and a respector of "personal space" and one who demands the same. There is no benefit to me of ANY "public Image" of ABDL's as being different from other folks
We have a stable situation where each person lives his. her or both, own life hassle-free and what others don't know won't hurt anyone and if you put your business in the street, you hang out a big sign saying "Gawkers and buttinskies welcom". We got a good thing going, why upset the apple cart? And does it occur to you that if you make it a topic of public comment that you infringe on those who are happy to keep it private by bringing the community, as a whole, and therfore its parts, under public, busybody, scrtiny?
